2nd Annual Rocky Mountain LSA Expo (19 May 2012)

The Rocky Mountain Light Sport Aircraft Expo is coming to Front Range Airport on May 19th and 20th of 2012. Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) are the hottest new category of aircraft. These sporty two-seat aircraft are uncomplicated and easy to fly and require only a Sport Pilot license or more advanced pilot rating to fly.

Sport Pilot/Light Sport Aircraft is an exciting and affordable way to fly. The Sport License requires fewer hours of instruction and does not require an FAA medical exam. The aircraft are less expensive to own or rent and operating costs are lower.

Colorado Aviation Week- Wings Over the Rockies/EAA B-17 Flights and Tours (07 Jun 2012)

Celebrate the history of the greatest generation!

In partnership with Wings Over the Rockies, the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) B-17, "Aluminum Overcast," will be appearing again at Centennial Airport (APA) as part of the celebration of the 2012 Colorado Aviation Week.

Flights will operate at Signature Flight Support from 8:30am - 12:30pm, Thursday June 7 to Sunday June 10, weather permitting.

Tours will be conducted on those same days following the conclusion of flight operations.

About our Keynote Speaker

BRIAN SHUL

Brian Shul is one of the most popular and dynamic keynote speakers in America today. His compelling story of living fearlessly appeals to men and woman of all ages. As an Air Force fighter pilot, Brian was shot down in the Vietnam War and severely burned in the ensuring crash. He spent one year in hospitals, endured 15 surgeries and was told his flying days were over. Amazingly, Brian returned to active duty flying, became an Airshow Demonstration pilot, went on to become a TOPGUN instructor, and culminated his Air Force career by flying the Top Secret spy plane, the SR-71. Flying the world’s fastest and highest flying aircraft required an astronaut physical and Brian made aviation history when he passed with no waivers.

When Brian retired from the Air Force after 20 years of flying, he pursued his writing and photography interests. Internationally known for his incredible aviation photography, he wrote the first book about flying the Blackbird, illustrated with his own photography. It was Aviation Book of the Year and is today the single most popular book worldwide on the SR-71.

The tournament will be hosted by the Lone Tree Golf Course.
