Membership Meeting, March 2012
Cocktail Hour
Members gathered in the Terminal Building at Rocky Mountain Metro Airport (BJC). Friends and colleagues caught up while having beverages and tasty appetizers which were generously provided by Blue Sky Bistro.
Also in attendance was artist and author Fredric Arnold, who displayed a table-top version of his sculpture, "Lest We Forget: The Mission." Mr. Arnold was a P-38 fighter pilot during WWII and is the last surviving member of his squadron. For more information visit his website at

Meeting Program
Outgoing Board of Trustees Chair, Reggie Arsenault, introduced the program. Membership Director Chris Leach spoke about the candidates for the incoming Board election, and the entire slate was approved by a show of hands. Newly-elected Chair, Brittany Davies, described our accomplishments of 2011 as well as the plans for 2012.
Keynote Speaker, Kirby Chambliss, two-time Red Bull Air Race Champion, showed a short video of his exploits and then delivered a very enjoyable talk. He described his experiences flying as a young man and how he got into aerobatics flying the Zivco Edge 540. Kirby answered audience questions for nearly an hour and then graciously spoke individually with members, signed autographs, and posed for pictures.
