    Greetings Friends,

Its a thrill to begin sharing our community's wealth of experience with each other. I'd like to thank all of you who are participating in our Pilot Forum. We want to foster an atmosphere of mutual support among our local pilot community and we're very encouraged to see each of you joining in.

Today we'll be meeting at Denver Metro to get to know each other and enjoy lunch together. There are endless possibilities for topics to share:

    • Just in my own department our efforts to enhance our SMS/ERP and international procedures could benefit from hearing your experience.
    • This past Tuesday we had an excellent luncheon with Bill Payne's group and visited with five representatives from Denver TRACON and Denver Center. We'd like to share how our local controlers and pilots are working together to improve arrivals and departures in the Denver area.
    • A few weeks ago we had an excellent General Aviation Security Training event provided by Waukesha County Technical College. We'll be launching an Airport Security Committee at BJC and we can only succeed if we have the support of our entire community.

These are just a few examples of topics. We want our industry group and this forum to be conduits of cooperation and genuine community.

Welcome aboard and please join in!

    Best regards,

    Mike Turner
