15th Annual VFW

"Ron Davies" Airlift

The Colorado Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), in partnership with the Colorado Aviation Business Association (CABA), is once again organizing the annual Holiday Airlift to deliver more than 8,000 pounds of food and toys to veterans and their families across the state.

Taking place in early December, the airlift mobilizes volunteer pilots and aircraft to reach VFW Posts in communities from the Western Slope to the Eastern Plains. Destinations include Grand Junction, Durango, Montrose, Alamosa, Pueblo, Sterling, Greeley, and others.

Now in its 15th year, the airlift continues as a meaningful statewide effort to support veterans during the holiday season.
